2020 Kia Telluride vs. 2019 Honda Pilot
The Kia Telluride has entered the automaker’s inventory as its most capable crossover SUV to date. While it does offer as much or more capability than any other Kia crossover SUV in the Team Gunther Kia showroom, it still has a lot of competition in its automotive industry segment. A comparison of the 2020 Kia Telluride vs. 2019 Honda Pilot will make navigating this densely packed industry segment a little easier. At the most basic level, the 2020 Telluride offers more standard performance, more interior cargo volume and more standard access to connectivity technology than its Honda Pilot competitor. Buyers trying to choose between the 2020 Kia Telluride and 2019 Honda Pilot will have a few common threads to untangle. Both vehicles have seating for up to eight passengers with options available for having seven riders. Where the 2020 Telluride starts to pull ahead of the 2019 Pilot is when customers need to start hauling large amounts of cargo. Potential owners of the 2020 Kia Telluride can fold down the two rear seats to open up 87 cubic-feet of cargo volume. The 2019 Honda Pilot tops out its cargo area at 83.9 cubic-feet. All available trim grades of the 2020 Kia Telluride are equipped with a smartphone-compatible infotainment system with access to the Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ suites. Honda offers this capability, but not on all Pilot trim grades.
