2020 Kia Telluride vs. 2019 Volkswagen Atlas

The Kia Telluride is among the newest crossovers on the market today. In the relatively short amount of time the Telluride has been available in the Team Gunther Kia showroom, it has quickly and easily established itself as the brand’s most capable model. A comparison of the 2020 Kia Telluride vs. 2019 Volkswagen Atlas reveals what a tall task the new Kia crossover SUV has in front of it. Team Gunther Kia customers who choose the 2020 Telluride over the VW Atlas will be able to accommodate more passengers, have higher performance output figures as well as a towing capacity that matches just about everything in its class – including its Volkswagen competitor. Customers can schedule a test drive with the 2020 Kia Telluride today by calling, 877-885-7998.

At the most basic level, the 2020 Telluride and 2019 Atlas do share a few similarities. Both crossover SUVs have three rows of seats. However, the 2020 Kia Telluride offers interior options that can hold up to eight people. Potential owners of the Volkswagen Atlas can only have up to seven people in their vehicle. In terms of technology, both the Telluride and Atlas are compatible with the Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ suites. It's worth noting that the 2019 Atlas does offer slightly more maximum cargo volume than the 2020 Telluride. However, the 87 cubic-feet available in the Telluride is still among the top cargo bays in its class. The difference in cargo volume between the Telluride and Atlas comes down to the seating space for the extra person.

Every trim grade will be able to produce 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Volkswagen offers two engine options for the 2019 Atlas, a turbocharged four-cylinder and a V-6.
