Like previous versions of the Kia Soul, the 2020 version offers a very adaptable interior with two rows of seats that can accommodate up to five people. The driver and front passenger can have up to 41.1 inches of legroom and those in the back seat can use up to 38.8 inches – depending on what the people in front need. Both rows of seats have about 39.5 inches of headroom so passengers on the taller end of the spectrum will be comfortable and be able to enter or exit the 2020 Soul easily.
Cargo-hauling has always been a strong selling point for the Kia Soul, a trend that continues for the 2020 model year. When the rear seats are deployed for passengers, there can be up to 24.2 cubic-feet of cargo volume for people to utilize. There are some cargo storage systems that are available with the all-new Kia Soul that can change these numbers.
However, it’s when the interior is configured for maximum cargo volume that the 2020 Soul takes after its predecessors and really shines. Folding the rear seats down opens up 62.1 cubic-feet of cargo volume. This number is on par with what is found inside heavier, less efficient crossover SUVs.
