What is Kia Drive Wise? 

Automakers like Kia have just about perfected the science of protecting vehicle passengers in the event of a crash. However, as technology has progressed, thinking has changed. Now, the best way to protect people in an accident by avoiding the collision altogether. So, what is Kia Drive Wise? It’s the working name of what the automaker actually calls Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). The suite of Kia safety systems can be found in a variety of combinations, depending on which model a customer chooses to take home from the Team Gunther Kia showroom. There are about a dozen different systems that comprise ADAS. Our team picked out three that are found on the most Kia vehicles, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Lane Keeping Assist-Line/Lane Departure Warning. As the new model year of Kia cars and crossover SUVs start to roll into the Team Gunther Kia showroom, our team has been faced with people asking, ‘Do any Kia vehicles require premium-grade fuel,’ and we thought we could help clear things up before they visit us. By and large, all 2020 and 2021 Kia vehicles are designed to run on regular-grade gasoline that is 87-octane or higher. At first it may seem strange for a dealership like Team Gunther Kia to tout its inventory of pre-owned vehicles. We like to make sure that our customers find the best available vehicle for the money they can afford to spend. The Kia Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program recently swept the Intellichoice CPO awards. It is the first time an automaker has won the top three categories since 2011.
